Class 101 Membership

On 12 October 2008, members from Genesis Cell Group, consisting of Peter & Jenny, Alan & Christine, Paul & Anne, Eric & Hunny, Beng, Fiona and Freddy attended FGA’s 101 Membership Class. In the class taught by Pastor Tan Cheng Kin, we were reminded of several important roles and responsibility being members of FGA church.

The 101 class stresses on a lot on the foundation, and the doctrines held by the church. Many questions concerning baptism, tithing, ministry and church structure were duly answered during the 2-hour class. Even though the class ended earlier than the planned time, we were truly thankful to Pastor Cheng Kin who made the class very lively and interesting with life stories and history. The passion by the leadership in FGA is truly commendable - the struggles the church has been through, and the history of FGA, were humbly shared by Pastor Cheng Kin.

All of us had learned so much in that 101 class. And we would encourage everyone who has not done so, to go through this class, though basic to some yet so essential to our understanding of what membership in the family of God entails. Check that out!!
