Theme: Let Us Arise

Dear FGAC family,

The message from Isaiah 54, I believe is the message for the church as we move into the New Year. A new day
awaits us as we enter the year 2015. The day of sighing and mourning is over. The time of singing has come.
Wintering season is over. Spring is coming. Isaiah 54:1 – “Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given
birth! Break into loud and joyful song”

God is doing a new work among His people. It is a work of restoration and healing. Therefore, sing in anticipation of this new move of God. Sing with a confidence that He who has begun a good work in us, is faithful and will accomplish all that He has promised He will do in and through us. Crying and sighing are now matters of the
past. The time of rejoicing and singing is at hand. It is time to break out into victory song to our Lord.
Isaiah 54:2 – “Enlarge your house, build an addition. Spread out your home, spare no expense! For you will soon be bursting at the seams”
Make preparation for this new move of God. Build in anticipation, for soon the house of God will be filled again. It will not be able to contain the new work He is doing. So let us join hands and work together to get the church ready. Enlarge, build and expand. Spare no effort in ensuring that we will not miss the hour of His visitation when it happens.

ARISE AND RETURN
CHRIST’S KINGDOM IN YOU
1st TRIMESTER
JANUARY – APRIL

THE GOAL – We desire to RAISE STRONG INDIVIDUALS on the foundation of the Word of God

THE DIRECTION – We are committed to see RENEWAL in the INDIVIDUAL LIFE of the believers. When a believer is renewed and spiritually revived – encountering God personally and growing spiritually she becomes a functional member in her immediate family and also in the extended family, the family of God.

THE DIVINE PROCESS –
· From SLAVERY to SONSHIP (Luke 15)
· Steps to RENEWAL (Psalm 103:3-5)
o REPENTANCE & FORGIVENESS
o HEALING & INNER HEALING
o DELIVERANCE – FREEDOM IN CHRIST
o IDENTITY – SONSHIP
o EMPOWERMENT OF GOD’S SPIRIT

THE STRATEGY –

LIFE Groups (January – April 2015) – For the 1st Trimester the LIFE groups will learn about EXPERIENCING GOD by learning the ways of God – how he speaks, forgives, delivers, disciplines and sanctifies us. And in our daily exchange of life we encourage every LIFE Group Member to dispense love by PRAYING FOR ONE OTHER.

Sweet Incense – Starting 7th January to 29th April 2015, for 15 consecutive Wednesday Nights we will be holding our Corporate Prayer Meeting – raising sweet incense of prayer to our Lord. For each PRAYER ENCOUNTER we will be reflecting on the Songs of Degree (Psalm 120 – 134) – a 15 Steps Journey in Prayer. As a Christian, your first
priority is to love the Lord your God with your entire being and your neighbor as yourself. You are called to be an intercessor, a man or a woman of prayer. You are to seek the face of the Lord as you inquire, listen, meditate, and consider in the temple of the Lord. The Leadership felt that it is about time that we come together purposefully, intentionally, and in earnestness before the Lord to SEEK HIS FACE and to pray for OPEN HEAVEN, ANOINTING, and prepare the individual and the Church for SPIRITUAL REVIVAL and RENEWAL!

Season of Lent 2015 – We would further encourage personal renewal, devotion, and reformation through this season (18 February – 5 April 2015) by several initiatives and spiritual activities –

· Lent Daily Devotion – meditation on the Messiah from the Book of Isaiah.

· Special Palm Sunday (29 March 2015) – celebrating Jesus Triumphal Entry:

WHO IS JESUS TO YOU?

· Nightly Prayer Gatherings in church during the Passion Week (30 March – 2 April).

· Good Friday and In Vigil Saturday culminating with RESURRECTION SUNDAY – Easter Celebration Service (3 -5 April 2015).

The Encounter Weekend is designed to bring a person to repentance at the cross, followed by the healing of inner hurts through the love of the Father and culminates with deliverance from the stranglehold of Satan by the power of the Holy Spirit. All of which are done holistically, in the privacy of a safe place provided during ministry times where the person encounters the Lord without any fear of embarrassment. The following day will begin with baptism of the Holy Spirit and the sharing of the vision of the church.
