Shared Values

FGA Centre is committed to a Common Corporate Shared Value.

What we practice as a church together and in unity…

1. Preserving the Unity of the Church

a. We value relationship and will do our best with the help of God to preserve the unity of the Church
b. We subscribe to the Consensus & Decision Making Policy
c. We follow with good faith the Grievance Policy in the event of disagreement and offences

Ephesians 4:3Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace

2. Demonstrating a Servant’s Heart

a. We value every member of the church and their contribution in the work of the ministry
b. At the same time we encourage that each one of us serve with a servant’s heart – not for selfish gain, fame and acceptance but for the glory of God
c. A servant’s heart has simplicity of faith, humbleness of heart and a fear of the Lord

Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

3. Upholding the Testimony of the Church

a. We value the testimony of the Church in the marketplace due to Godly living
b. We value the testimony of the Church by our regular attendance

Phil. 1:27 (Ph)“But whatever happens, make sure that your everyday life is worthy of the gospel of Christ.”
Heb. 10:25 “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together…but let us encourage one another.”

4. Carrying out the Discipleship Process

The community of FGA Centre, with all its synergistic dynamics at work, emerges FOUR MAJOR ELEMENTS that made up the DISCIPLESHIP PROCESS – bring them in (connect), build them up (equip), train them for (involve), and send them out (mobilize) so that the Lord’s name would be glorified (worship).

5. Teaching on Tithing and Stewardship

1 Cor. 16:2“Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering.”

6. Championing the Great Commission and Commandment

Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

7. Impacting the Community through Kindness

Galatians 5:8-10 (ESV)“For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

8. Investment in Kingdom Business

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
